Had it not been for one TV program entitled, America's Most Christmassy Places, Marc and I would not have gone to Sam's Town way out of the Las Vegas Strip to view its famous Mystic Falls and Garden. Unlike its counterparts on the strip and downtown, Sam's Town Hotel and Casino's Christmas decorations were more low key but beautiful just the same. Its real live forest in the hotel's courtyard was like a breath of fresh air and different from all the glitz and glam of the many swank Las Vegas hotels and resorts. It is said that its light display is what separates it from the rest and that which makes it a standout. Unfortunately we were pressed for time and could not stay long enough to view it. It just gives us more reason to return and stay longer in Vegas next time.
