A few years ago, friends of ours from the East Coast insisted on visiting the Pied Piper Bar and Grill located inside the Palace Hotel. Apparently they had heard about the history of the place and wanted to see it for themselves. It wasn't until a few days ago did I really pay attention to the beautiful artwork here. All day long the lighting here is controlled and dimly lit making the artworks on permanent display really stand out. This is a popular hangout of local and visiting businessmen. It's quite pricey but its' one very nice place to see and be seen in San Francisco.
