A block away from Union Square and sandwiched by the Bank of America and Walgreen's along Powell Street is the Golden Gate Bar and Grill. I believe it has been around for at least two years, however, it was just recently when it became more visible and recognizable. I say it was when they began placing different statues of sports players like the ones which appear in this entry did people really begin remembering it. I say their marketing ploy, if ever it really was, has worked and I personally like it.
