There is no denying UNITED and all other American carriers have a long way to go if they are to compete with other world airlines. While I find the service generally very satisfactory on the ground and on board flights, UNITED does need to update its rather old and outdated planes. We are now in 2015 and this airline company seems stuck in the 1990s. It still has the lone movie screen per cabin for crying out loud. I wonder when it will provide its passengers the personal TV screens like all other airlines do now.

I hope it buys new planes ASAP and serve much better food. Despite its flaws though, I am a die hard fan and I still fly it whenever I can. It has without any doubt the best frequent flyer program around.

I honestly cannot wait to fly this bird once more. Soon, I hope!
