St. Paul's Cathedral
As I looked at the pictures Marc and I took during our first visit to London last 1997, I wondered why we hardly had any of the famous cathedral's interior. All I remembered were the black and white floor tiles. Turns out, photography inside was not allowed and continues to be prohibited. Anyway, the building is impressive.
Unlike in other cathedrals and churches where tourists are prohibited from roaming around when mass is being celebrated, visitors here seemed to be allowed to wander about even when a religious ceremony was being held. It seemed odd but that's what I remember during the afternoon we were there. Then again, I might be mistaken. At any rate, there were dozens of graduates in their gowns having their pictures taken with family in front of the cathedral. Their graduation ceremony must have taken place inside the cathedral earlier that day.
