The Museum of London

18-Sep-2015 • London England

Marc and I were finally able to visit the Museum of London during our most recent visit to the UK. We planned on visiting it right after going to the British Museum in the morning of our second to the last day in the city. It was our very first visit. Last 1997, we did go to the site but it was closed and we were unable to go in. Just like many of London's museums, admission was free.

We spent a big chunk of time here. I know many people who have no desire to visit museums and never go to any anywhere. I, on the other hand, think it is a must to visit the most important ones in the cities that we visit. I think they are very informative and educational. Museums are windows to different people's life and culture.

I was really hopeful to see something English, and the Museum of London did not disappoint. Unlike the British Museum which we visited earlier in the day, this museum was not so full of visitors. Here, we were able to look at the exhibits closely and leisurely. It was pure luxury.
