Marc and I planned on getting to the museum early and beat the crowds. It seemed everyone else had the same idea because despite our early arrival, there already were tens of thousands of visitors at the museum. I suppose it was to be expected since the British Museum is a major museum and admission has always been free. Combine these two factors and millions come in droves.

At the British Museum. A couple from the Midwest asked us to take their picture in front of this famous landmark and after we took theirs, they took ours in return.

What? A Totem Pole? Is this a North American Museum?
Unfortunately for us, we did not get to explore the museum to our heart's content when we went. An alarm went off and everyone inside was asked to vacate the premises. Darn!
