The Garden of Remembrance was a short distance walk from our hotel in Dublin. We actually had to go there twice since the first time we went to check it out the place was closed and locked. It turned out it opened only at 10:30 am everyday. Unlike the many memorials we've seen in the UK and Ireland, this monument was entirely dedicated to the Irish who took part in securing Irish independence and freedom.
