The Museum of Archaelogy

30-Jun-2015 • Dublin Ireland

It was a pity Marc and I didn't spend a lot of time in Dublin. Anyway, I cannot altogether feel bad since we did see a lot during our limited time there. One of the attractions we saw by accident was the Museum of Archaeology. We were walking around aimlessly when we saw it next to Leinster House. Admission was free.

As far as I can recall, the museum was housed in a buiding with four floors (three if we were to go by European standards). Anyway, the galleries showed artifacts dating back to the Ireland of prehistoric times. We didn't really stay for a long time since we still wanted to see more of the city. Besides, given that it was just our first full day in the city, jet lag set in by 5 pm and we were in fact fast asleep by 8.
