O'Connell Street

30-Jun-2015 • Dublin Ireland

It was honestly so wonderful to be back in Dublin after so many years. Who would have thought Marc and I would actually find ourselves in it after 17 years. This time though, we had more time to explore at our own pace.

O'Connell Street was just so full of people. Mostly tourists I must say. We also saw many rainbow flags every where. We did hear of same sex unions being put to a vote and approved unanimously by the Irish just a couple of weeks earlier.

I was expecting doom and gloom from the weather but it was sunny to my delight.

Thanks to the strength of the US dollar today, traveling in Ireland where the Euro is used didn't feel so aggravating. Actually, things did appear rather cheap.
