Marc and I have been to the Caribbean four times. Not enough I would say. If I had my way, I would go at least once a year and visit its beaches with crystal blue waters. Right from the time I first set foot in this part of the world, I realized that there is more to the islands besides their beaches. There is a lot of history and culture there too. Being a culture vulture myself, I cannot be any happier every time I vacation there. I get to hit two birds with one stone so to speak.
In some cruise ports, one does not have to go very far to go swimming and do all sorts of water sports. The ship literally docks right at the beach as was the case in Turks and Caicos.
I cannot get enough of the beaches in the Caribbean. The clear blue waters of the Caribbean sea are simply amazing. Nearly every island country in this part of the world has beaches to die for. I have visited those in Grenada, The Cayman Islands, Martinique, St. Barts, The US Virgin Islands, Roatan in Honduras, Curacao, Aruba, I can go on and on.
There is a lot of history and culture there too. Martinique and St. Barts are very French, Grenada & Bahamas are very British, while Curacao and Aruba are so Dutch.
