Happy Pride San Francisco
Every year around this time, San Francisco fills with people from all over the world. Many come specifically to witness and take part in the Gay Pride celebration. It has become so popular, it is hard to get a hotel reservation anywhere in the Bay Area.
Over the years, I have noticed that this event has ceased to be a celebration solely by the LGBT community. It has become so mainstream. Everyone actually comes (no pun intended here folks).
It is a fun day indeed. Besides the parade which is the culmination of this holiday, there are dances, theater, movie exhibitions, street fairs, and food fests all throughout the city over several days. Furthermore, with the Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriages last Friday, I will not be surprised if the very huge turnout of people out to celebrate the event this Sunday even breaks the record in terms of event attendees over the years and decades. Happy Pride, everybody!
