Last Day of School
Today was the last day of school and this was the condition my classroom was in by the time my students had left and I had tidied up the room before I checked out for the summer. It's funny how quiet and clean the entire place looked when empty.
This is the Smart board I use every single day when I teach. It is the total opposite of the chalkboard I first used as a school teacher back in the nineties.
Today, my classroom is quite high tech and my Smart Board also doubles as a screen for movies, videos, Powerpoint presentations, and more.
All the shelves are practically bare. I have put all the reading books away in my cabinets and closets inside the room.
Where art thou, children? Playing video games and watching TV at home now I bet!
