Exactly three weeks ago we caught sight of a very colorful staircase from many blocks away. Marc and I had always taken the same route to go to the Palace of the Legion of Honor but we didn't think we had seen the long flight of stairs as colorful and as attractive as it did then. After a little research, we found out that it was the newly constructed Lincoln Park Steps set to be inaugurated this coming May 27, 2015.

It reminded me of Plaza de España in Seville and Gaudi's Parc Guell in Barcelona. At any rate this is San Francisco's own and I have no doubt this new landmark will soon make its way to the city's tourist map. There were already quite of number of visitors when we went and it had not been publicized yet. Just imagine when the press writes about it next week.
