The Book of Mormon

I had a delightful time watching the Book of Mormon today at the Orpheum Theater. I haven't laughed as much in a long time. Actually, everyone else in the theater had a whale of a time. Before all of us knew it, the two hour program was over. That quick.

The story line was hilarious. A word of warning though, it has a very adult theme and it is definitely not for kids.

It was something we could all relate to. Who hasn't seen Mormon boys walk around town and knock on doors looking for people to convert to their religion.

The Book of Mormon is definitely one of the finest musicals I have ever seen. It ranks high up there with Hairspray, Urinetown, and Kiss Me Kate as my all time favorite comedies and Miss Saigon for drama.

The Orpheum was a beautiful venue. I have been here many times and I am always impressed by the moorish design of the theater.
