Mexican Food, Mexican Restaurants

These days, besides eating Asian food (Chinese, Filipino, and Japanese) I eat Mexican food more often than any other food out there. I used to not be a big fan. However, after having been introduced to many different dishes by my "Latino" colleagues at work, I have developed a taste for it now. Burritos, enchiladas, flautas, tacos, and pupusas (from Central America) have long become part of my vocabulary and I order them every time I find myself having lunch or dinner in a Mexican or Central American restaurant.

I also appreciate the fact that they are priced reasonably. These restaurants are some of the very few places nowadays where one can get a huge serving for less than $10 and still have food left to take home in a doggy bag. Now I say "Amen" to that.

I have not been to this restaurant yet but I saw its very colorful façade along mid-Market.

One thing I enjoy seeing in Mexican restaurants is the colorful décor: Papel Picado in this case.
