It's Over!

Early Easter Sunday morning, Marc and I woke up to a reality that came too soon. Our week long cruise to the Western Caribbean on board Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Dawn came to an end. To think, we never realized it would be the fun that it turned out to be. We both knew it was only for seven days. We just hoped it didn't go too quickly. Unlike other vacations we had, I must say, I was sad to leave the ship. I had a ball, touring, eating, and just plain relaxing. I could really live the way I did on board for a long time it not forever.

Cruises can really make people sad when it is over. I overheard a few passengers say so themselves. What was a busy ship now looked like a ghost town as all passengers stayed inside cabins waiting to disembark by the hour.

I must commend Norwegian for coming up with the self assist departure. No need packing up and leaving our suitcases the night before outside our stateroom if we didn't want to. Instead, we left the ship ourselves without having to claim our baggage the morning of departure since we already had them with us. The whole process was smooth and painless.

Happy Easter everybody! Time to go home!

The ship now looked like a ghost town. Time for the crew to clean up within two hours before the next group of cruisers came on board and had their turn to have fun.

Even the bar was closed and empty.

Where have all the passengers gone?

The stairs were so eerily empty too.

There was no way to go now but out, out of the ship. Till the next ship adventure. Alaska and the Panama Canal are calling.
