Leaving Roatan
11-Apr-2015 • Roatan Honduras
After a full day at Tabyana Beach, it was time to head back to the ship. As usual, the port consisted of souvenir and jewelry stores. The most interesting of all for us was the Honduran chocolate. We had a taste of some and boy were they spicy. Marc bought a bar to share with colleagues at work. It was very obvious that the port relied heavily on cruise ships arriving. As soon as we all left the stores at the port closed down right away. The whole town center was literally empty as our ship sailed away by 6 pm.
