On Board The Norwegian Dawn

6-Apr-2015 • New Orleans United States

I did not know what to expect from Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Dawn. It had been six long years since Marc and I boarded a ship and traveled to the Caribbean. Nonetheless, I was excited to see new places and begin a new adventure.

The ship was huge. Fortunately, there wasn't anything planned for us passengers on the first full day of the cruise but explore and discover the ship on our own time and pace. It was also the first of our two days at sea. All restaurants, stores, lounges, bars, the theater, and the casino were left open for us to see and visit. I liked what I saw.

Marc mentioned that the ships we traveled on each time got bigger and bigger. He was right.

Here I am happy to be on vacation and on my fourth cruise. I would be lying if I said I didn't like cruising. By this time, I consider it one of the best ways to holiday.

Marc was happy too!

Our fellow passengers wasted no time in enjoying everything the Norwegian Dawn could offer. As early as the first morning of our seven day cruise, people went to the pool and swam while others sat inside hot tubs and by the poolside to chat with family and friends, or simply hang out.

There were paintings everywhere inside the ship. Practically all were for sale except of course the ones which formed part of the common area décor. The next three paintings hung outside the Le Bistrot Restaurant.

Right above each flight of stairs had a painting on the wall. It was for sale like many others.

This was another painting on another floor. I only took pictures of the paintings I liked.
