It's funny how I have really taken for granted the number of very beautiful and historic buildings here in San Francisco. For nearly 14 years, I went to my allergist's clinic to get my weekly allergy shots in the same area where this building is located. Little did I realize that it was right in the next block. It is not only a place where many Russian immigrants to San Francisco congregate and socialize with fellow countrymen but it is also a cultural center where events are held annually to showcase the Russian culture and cuisine. Now that I know this is here, I sure would love to go there in February next year when they hold their celebrations.
