I recently bought a book about airlines written by Keith Lovegrove. Its cover has the picture of a flight attendant from years ago. In the 25+ years that I have traveled, I have only seen US carriers employ senior aged attendants on their international flights. I think it's an excellent statement to the world. Who's to say that once someone reaches middle age, you are no longer good for anything.
