I have written about it recently. Blogging has made me very observant of my surroundings and what I took for granted for years, I now stop to look at. For the longest time, I walked past some of the murals I feature in this entry as I went back and forth my allergy doctor's clinic a few blocks from the Fillmore which borders Japantown in San Francisco. I have long meant to take pictures and I am glad I did so today.

The Fillmore is to African Americans what the Mission is to Hispanics in San Francisco. Seeing all these beautiful art, I realize I have to yet to discover a lot about my adopted city.
