Going Home Through Haneda International

22-Feb-2015 • Tokyo Japan

I flew out of Tokyo's Haneda International Airport on my way home to San Francisco. I first traveled through it last April 2014 also after visiting the Philippines for a week. I must say, I like Haneda a whole lot. I purposely decided to go there four hours before my 12:05 am flight out and I had a ball wandering about the international terminal. The Japanese have most certainly managed to make this airport a combination of a museum, a foodcourt, and a high end mall. I enjoyed my layover here sightseeing and shopping. I think any traveler who goes and travels through it will too. What's more? The airport is right in Tokyo and it only took 30 minutes for the limo to reach it from the Tokyo City Air Terminal.

These strings of lights on trees made the terminal still have a Christmas feel.

Christmas lights were everywhere in the departure terminal.

The Haneda Nihonbashi Bridge

The murals next to the Haneda Nihonbashi Bridge

I don't remember seeing any of the murals on the wall right next to the Haneda Nihonbashi bridge. They were a pretty sight.
