Marc and I welcomed 2015 right in our adopted hometown of San Francisco. Unlike in previous years when we always found ourselves in foreign lands celebrating the new year, We actually enjoyed it very much staying home.

We went to the Embarcadero to watch the fireworks. We just walked from home. Along the way, it was nice to see all the Christmas decorations that adorned the different houses and buildings from Nob Hill down to the Financial Center.

We initially thought the crowd wasn't as going to be as big. The 7, 8, 9, and 10 pm news certainly ddn't show it like so. By the time we arrived around 11:30 pm, the place was jampacked with revelers. The crowd was a mix of locals and visitors to the city. A festive air definitely permeated the air.
