On the way to Paso Robles from Las Vegas, Marc and I passed by a junk yard where old airplanes both private and commercial were parked. Being the airplane fanatics that we are, we had to stop and take a close look.

Marc had read somewhere that the planes here were no longer in use and were in fact being scrapped. He also thinks that some parts of the plane were sold for reuse.

We initially thought the entire area allowed visitors just like the Hiller and the Oakland Aviation Museums. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case. We did manage to get a few pictures of some of the planes as well as a space capsule.
