If I were flushed with cash and money was no object, I would stay in the fabulous Wynn Hotel every time I came to Vegas. I just loved this hotel. It was absolutely luxurious. I first visited it in 2007 shortly after it opened to the public.
I sure am glad it has managed to maintain its luxurious premises despite the throngs of people that have been visiting it day in and day out.
The Wynn at night
Immediately after entering the hotel, one arrives at the esplanade lined with high end boutiques. One does need to look up to see the fabulous ceiling.
This was the carpeting in one section of the hotel.
The Christmas decorations here were very pretty. It was really hard to take pictures due to the sheer number of people that had congregated when we were there. To be honest, the pictures in this entry do not do the actual decor any justice. One does need to see it to appreciate it.
This was the mosaic tiled floor in another part of the hotel.
This balloon statue was made of flowers all pieced together.
This was the hotel's gift shop which I liked a lot. Very high end and colorful to boot.
I loved this living room vignette inside the Wynn NVLV Gift Shop
Another vignette
A Jeff Koons masterpiece heavily guarded all throughout the day. Security on both sides of this statue stood on alert just in case a tourist got too eager and actually stood next to it despite the bronze metal fence that surrounded it.
