My Very First Visit to Canada and Vancouver, B.C.

23-Oct-2014 • Vancouver, B.C. Canada

My very first visit to Vancouver, BC took place last 1994. A childhood friend and classmate from grade school to college, Nelson Tolentino, and I traveled to Seattle and from there we drove to Vancouver for a day long visit.

We were both in awe of the city. Robson Square was particularly very pretty and rich looking. In fact, we both agreed it looked a lot prettier than San Francisco's Union Square. We tried to visit as many sights as we could during the very limited time we were there.

We explored the then brand spanking new Canada Place, walked around Gas Town, had dinner in Spaghetti Factory, visited Stanley Park and took pictures of the totem poles, and much more.

I was very happy we did the two hour drive to see Canada. It was the first visit for both of us.
