It was a real pleasure to be back in Munich. To think, Marc and I were just here last Christmas. It rained on and off during our stay but we had a pleasant stay just the same. In between the showers, we toured the city and the locals and tourists alike congregated in the city center like there was no tomorrow. What crowd! What atmosphere!
The Rathaus in Marienplatz
The Beer Garden where we ate yet again another pig's knuckle.
This was the ad from the restaurant where we bought one pig's knuckle for dinner. We were quite surprised by the price. Just 6 euros for two. Given the portion size, we opted for just one. I simply couldn't finish one knuckle even if I had days to eat it.
Hirmer, posh men's clothes store just like Brooks Brothers in the US
Hirmer's facade very similar to the German houses found in the countryside
