Immediately after check in, Marc and I went out for a walk in Zagreb's city center. Thanks to the central location of our hotel, the Best Western Astoria, we did not have to walk far.

Visiting the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Prislins Tower, and the Dolac Market did not require much effort. They were within walking distance of each other and we were glad to have hit some of the city's foremost sights right away.
