After approximately a two and a half hour train ride from Ljubljana, Marc and I arrived in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. Three months ago, coming to this city was the farthest from our minds. Our plan was to come to Dubrovnik along the Adriatic coast. However, when we found out that a night stay in a Dubrovnik hotel was going to cost three times the cost of a hotel night stay in Zagreb, we changed our itinerary and decided to stay away from the coast and concentrate on the capital cities instead. Now that we are here, we have no regrets. Zagreb is a fascinating city indeed worthy of a visit.

While in Zagreb, we are staying in another Best Western Hotel. We chose this place after reading the different reviews of travelers to the city as well as their different accomodations. I believe we made a good choice.
