Visit any upscale department store's home department and you are bound to see Wedgewood porcelain for sale. I had the opportunity to visit this famous brand's headquarters and factory in Stoke on Trent, England. It was impressive and, yes, expensive.

At the Wedgewood Porcelain showroom in the city where it originated and established. This visitor center is actually set in a 500 acre countryside estate at Barlaston, Staffordshire.

It is here where the finest wares Josiah Wedgwood made can be found after founding his famous factory in 1759.
