While watching TV at home one night, there was one TV commercial from one cruise line that totally captivated me. It showed some ruins on top of a hill overlooking the clear blue waters of the Caribbean. It turned out the place was Tulum, in Mexico. I knew I had to see it for myself. Thus, when figuring out where we were going to spend our Christmas holidays, a cruise to the Caribbean with a stop in this place was it.
