My First Week in Madrid
I have amassed approximately 50 photo albums from the 70 countries I have visited thus far. However, I didn't realize I had very few pictures from the very first trips I took within Spain and Western Europe back in the late eighties and nineties.
These pictures, taken during my first week in Spain, were in fact given and sent to me by Mr. Louie Uson, a Filipino businessman and publisher, who I met in Schiphol Airport, while waiting for our connecting flight to Madrid.
With fellow Atenean, Marvi Zambrano. Marvi and I were both recipients of the scholarship from Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores last 1987.
