In the summer of 1988, I was on vacation from my studies in Madrid. While I spent most of my free time in the city and enjoyed every minute of it, I did take two trips out of the city then. The first of these trips was to Toledo, an hour away from Madrid by train.

Toledo is a jewel of a city. How I wished I had more pictures of the city at the time of my visit. If there are places I recommend for visitors to Spain, this city is one of them.
