The Leaning Tower of Pisa, now checked off my bucket list.
In the afternoon of January 3, 2014, Marc suggested that we traveled to PISA to see the Leaning Tower. After all, it was just an hour away. He felt we had to take advantage of the dry weather and visit another Italian city. I sure was glad we did. If my memory serves me right, it was around 2 pm when we took the direct local train to PISA.

I love Pisa!
Piazza Garibaldi
With religious statues like this dotting the city, I began to believe, PISA was and is a religious city.
The splendor that is the Leaning Tower.
Romulus, Remus, and the wolf in front of the Leaning Tower. I sure was glad to see this monument. We didn't see the exact same monument in Rome.
