Our First Night in Florence

2-Jan-2014 • Florence Italy

I had a hankering for rice during our first night in Florence. Luckily, we found a Turkish restaurant across the Central Market that sold inexpensive rice plates. I knew I didn't want to eat lamb, although I have it every so often. Luckily their kebab was chicken. For both my dinner and Marc's, our bill including drinks was just 15 euros.

I truly want a mix for my meals. San Francisco, which has superb restaurants serving dishes from all over the world within short blocks from each other, has spoiled me rotten in this regard. I can't help it.

This is picture perfect! Just like a postcard.
