In Dusseldorf on My Very First Visit Ever to Germany
I remember being very excited finding myself in Germany for the very first time. Although we stayed here for only a day, I actually still had to apply for a tourist's visa in the German Embassy in Madrid just for this visit. Although all I had to do was fill out an application to secure the visa, I felt all the work was for naught since the guards at the Dutch and German border didn't even check out our visas let alone looked at our passports. The German guards simply waved us through to enter.
