Amsterdam, Netherlands
I cannot believe it has been so long since I was in Amsterdam. We are talking decades here people. Every time I watch a travel show featuring the Netherlands, I often can tell a number of attractions. However, there is no denying that a lot of changes have occurred since my first and last visit.
I certainly long to return and my next visit just might be sooner than expected. I do hold many wonderful memories of the country and its people from my nearly two month summer vacation last 1990.
While in the Netherlands, I took almost daily trips to Amsterdam from Leiden. I love cities and I couldn't get enough of Amsterdam. From where I stayed in Leiden, I took the bus to the Leiden train station and then from there took the train to Amsterdam's Central Station.
