See You Again Soon, Saigon!

The New World Hotel, our hotel in Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City

I really wished we had stayed longer in Saigon. We were there for five days yet there were many sights we didn't get to see even in the city center where our hotel was. Some attractions did close for lunch while others just opened late. Another visit to Saigon is definitely a must. Hopefully, the second visit isn't too far away.

This was taken in front of our hotel.

We saw some people filming in the park. The actors were seated at the bus stop's metal bench supposedly waiting for their ride.

This was the outdoor set with the crew setting up and the actors ready to shoot at a moment's notice.

What can I say? Scooters were just everywhere in Saigon.

The Ben Thanh Market, a few yards away from the New World Hotel where we stayed. I went shopping here for some handicrafts and I got quite a haul with just US $40. Haggling though was a must and the vendors were all very nice and kind to deal with.
