Waterville, Dingle, Killarney, Adare, and Limerick

The Ring of Kerry was a huge area. So huge it took us more than a day to drive the ring or most of it. Fortunately for us while we were in Ireland, it was dry. We had just been in England a few days before joining the tour and it rained there like crazy. The dry spell sure was a nice respite even though it was just for a short while.

My impression of Ireland by this leg of the trip? It was definitely very country. After all, we had not yet reached Dublin at this time. Anyway, the countryside was so green, so quiet and peaceful.

What would Ireland be without sheep. There were so many of them. No wonder so many woolen sweaters were sold in so many souvenir stores all over the country. I fact, I bought three.

If I were to name three things I saw a lot of in Ireland, I would say, sheep, green grass and pubs. Taken in Dingle.
