Our Hotel in Oslo, The Park Inn by Radisson

20-Aug-2013 • Oslo Norway

I had heard how expensive Scandinavia was before our visit and our vacation in Norway reinforced it more. It was expensive alright. After booking our airfares, choosing the hotel was the next big task for us. Luckily, there was the Park Inn by Radisson right in the middle of the city which provided free breakfast with our reservation. It helped us keep our expenses down.

The Park Inn was a business class hotel. I remember being checked in by a friendly young man. Check in was quick and easy. We were the only ones in the lobby when we arrived. Our room faced an old grand building which seemed empty the entire time we were in Oslo. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and we walked to many of the city's attractions from where we were. Would we stay here if and when we went back to Oslo? The answer is most definitely!

A hotel room would never be complete without a desk. This was ours in our room.

I was pleasantly surprised to an iron and an ironing board.

There was really no big closet. This was it for us!
