Given that I am writing this blog entry approximately 12 years after Marc and I traveled to Macau, this charming former Portuguese colony has undergone some tremendous changes over the years. We know for a fact that casinos have sprouted all over and that the island is being touted as the Las Vegas of Asia. Nonetheless, I am very happy to have visited the island prior to its huge development.
This is what we saw then and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do every time I look at them.

About to visit the Macau Museum. This was a small but absolutely beautiful museum. Definitely well worth the time we spent here.
