While in Paris, France, Marc and I took the train to travel to the City of Luxembourg for a day. It was so cool to just hop on a train in Paris then find ourselves in a different country just a few hours later. It was my second visit to Luxembourg, having visited the tiny country in the summer of 1990. However, it was Marc's first visit.
Marc took this picture as well as the following four pictures either while our train was moving or while it was stopped. These were some of the places we saw along the way. Definitely lots of country but pretty.
After getting off the train, it was quite easy to get to the city center. We just walked all the way. This was one bank we saw with the statue of Phalle on a pedestal. I saw a very similar statue but suspended from the ceiling of the Zurich train station on our visit to Switzerland in 1998, two years before this trip to France and Luxembourg.
