Voyager New Zealand Maritime Museum 2
After our visit to the Voyager's Polynesian gallery, the European exploration and immigration section came next. Here are some images from that gallery.
Just like Australia, New Zealand's immigrants came mainly from England. I love the New Zealand accent. It never dawned on me that in New Zealand English, the e sounded like the short i. Hence, the word dentist would be pronounced "dintist". I swear, the language sounds very sweet when spoken by the locals.
Also taken in the European gallery of the museum, this section now showed the European migration to New Zealand and how they traveled to their new country.
These were the bunk beds across the room from where the female mannequin sat on her bed. Honestly, these exhibits reminded us of the cruises we took to the Carribean and how we wished we were on one again soon.
