The Australian Museum
One of the few museums we visited while in Sydney was the Australian Museum. It is a Natural History Museum similar to the one in London and New York. Displays were presented thematically beginning with artwork by the Aborigenes to stuffed animals native to the island continent. We were here a good 3 hours at least.
On the way to the museum from our hotel in Wynyard, we passed by St. James Anglican Church once again. Right next to it was another statue of Queen Victoria. Like I said before, she was just everywhere in this part of the planet.
Here I am again by St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral

I first thought these were didgeridoos. They turned out to be wooden poles made by Aborigenes and placed at grave sites
I just love these art work made out of tree bark by Australian Aborigenes.

This is one of my favorite Aboriginal artworks at the museum. People having a meal at a table

A Bilby
A wallaby
Another Wallaby. I must say, I get confused at times distinguishing between a wallaby and a kangaroo. I overheard an Australian mom explaining to her son at the Melbourne Zoo that a wallaby is much smaller than a kangaroo.
A Marsupial Lion
Diprotodon
What a lizard! Get a load of the pattern on its body.
