Frankfurt Again

Our beautiful home in Frankfurt, Le Meridien

For this blog entry, the beginning of all entries about our most recent trip to Europe, I shall only be blogging about the new places we saw and discovered. I felt it not necessary to upload pictures of places I already have posted here in the past. It had been a habit of mine to post about my vacations from the day of departure to the time we returned home. If I were to continue this practice, there would be over 30 entries for each and every day we were traveling. I no longer have the free time to do so.

Anyway, it was June 12th when we left San Francisco for Frankfurt, Germany. Given that we had been to Frankfurt many times and have seen many of its sights, we decided to visit Hochst, Mainz, and Wiesbaden during the three days we spent in Germany specifically to get over jetlag.

Our king size bed. I can't complain about our accommodations. The room we were given was very spacious and modern. There was truly ample space to move around with lots of closet space.

Throughout our stay in Frankfurt, we stayed at the Le Meridien, a few steps away from the Frankfurt Train Station. It was a very good choice.

Our room even had a living room area.

The bathroom was equally as spacious and had very good plumbing. I say this because on this trip to Europe, we actually stayed in a couple of hotels where the toilet did not flush very well. That was a fright!

This was the closet. There were enough shelves for our clothes and shoes.

Here's a view of the living room area of our room at Le Meridien.
