Travel Addiction
I just returned from Tokyo and although it was my 12th visit to Japan, I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed myself there. Granted it had been eight years since my last visit, everything looked new and fresh to me even though I have seen the sights there many times. It was also so relaxing. Tokyo has a certain allure that entices me to return over and over. It's hard to explain but when I'm there, I am energized and engaged every single minute. Truth to tell, I plan to return Christmas again this year. I have also decided to visit the Philippines during the holidays. I have lots of friends there I would love to see. It has been years after all since I was there. For years now classmates and neighbors from my childhood have been encouraging me to visit them. It was last 2016 after all when I was there last. It's time. If there is one thing I am most careful of about traveling, it is the cost. Airfares and hotel stays have certainly gone up which is why planning ahead of time is key. They earlier one plans, the more affordable airfares and cheaper room rates in good hotels one gets. Last summer, I wondered when I will stop traveling. I do not think I ever will. As long as my health and my finances allow me to, I shall.
