Treasure Island
The Treasure Island was home for us while we vacationed in Las Vegas during Thanksgiving week. I have to say, I still love the hotel's physical building. I like its design and architecture. Although it has now been overshadowed by posh hotels like the Wynn and Aria, rooms in this hotel are still a good value. What's more, the hotel offers free parking which is a big help for visitors who wish to save money.
The hotel is likewise very close to the Fashion Island Mall where we ate dinner at times. I first laid eyes on the hotel back in the late 1990s when my family and I visited Las Vegas one summer. I remember the Strip still being developed at that time and the Mirage and Treasure Island were the hotels to see and be seen. Back then, I could only dream of staying here.
How times have changed! Nowadays, the TI has become more affordable. Lucky for us!
