It was so much fun to return to Brussels for the third time. We returned to Belgium because Marc and I hadn't really explored the country as well as we wanted. Our previous visits were no more than a day each and the last one was in winter when it was cold and it got dark quickly.
This time, we chose the IBIS Grand Place for our home away from home while in Brussels. We couldn't be happier with the hotel's location. WE actually saw it during our day trip there from Amsterdam last 2019 and we knew it was where we wanted to stay if and when we came back.
This time around, we stayed in Belgium for five full days. From there, we took day trips to Brugge one day and to Luxembourg another day. Brussels, the city famous for its waffles, chocolates, and the Mannekin Pis, did not disappoint.

By a mural in Brussels. I found Brussels to be one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen.

The Inno Department Store where we had lunch twice. The first time we went, we ate the famous mussels! We were stuffed the rest of the day!
