I knew it would happen and just like in previous years during this exact time of year, going back to work after the two week Christmas break is hard to do, so hard.  Who doesn't enjoy sleeping in when it's cold and dark outside?  In our case, it rained all the time over Christmas and I just found it so relaxing to stay home and not think about the commute and the routine of school work.  

While I do not like growing older, I do look forward to retirement.  I still have a few years before I can opt to stop working but I am so green with envy every time I think of the many teachers I know who have retired and are now enjoying their free time.
